In perhaps more relevant news, I've tried to find a bit of time to write because I think it should help. I finished a couple original things, including several limericks, but they'll go up later. For now, another theme:

Finished another drabble. Lazed around. Did SAT prep, studied Chinese, practiced debate, played chess. Saw Step Brothers- it was surprisingly funny, actually. I enjoyed it. I need to kick my ass back into shape before school starts, but I'm so lazy. Anyone have any tips?

I also finished the first season of Firefly. IT WAS AMAZING. IT WAS SO SO SO SO GOOD. Now I have to find the next DVD, because the first one only had the first three episodes, but the video store didn't have it. T.T This is a great loss for Arikind. I must find it. so I have a small crush on Captain Reynolds. And maybe want to be Kaylee. Who doesn't?

So on with the drabble. I'm questioning the title, so let me know if you have any suggestions.

Let me get this straight- while I was gone, they killed 4chan, Smoke got abused, KuroFai was trolled, and badfic became an encouraged commodity. See, this is why we can't have nice things. Anyway, the Chinese government has lj blocked, so I'm totally swamped now trying to catch up. China was amazing, though- really beautiful and I had a great time. While I managed not to get hit by any tanks, the city I flew out of, Kunming, was bombed the day before. Figures, right?

Anywho, I have plenty of backlogged writing that I need to catch up on. Part one is finishing my fifty themes, one of which I now present to you:

Back to my 50 themes. I swear I'll finish them if they kill me, which they and school very well might.

But really, I love Yuuko. And the theme "butterfly" just begs Yuuko-intervention. And it was Independence Day on Greece when I wrote this, so that's where the closing line comes from.

A/N: An (obviously) AU Monty Python and the Holy Grail spinoff. It will begin following the original plotline, but should deviate as I go on. I’ve fit as much Python humor and as many Python lines in as I could, to satisfy the purists. Many of the dialogue lines are stolen straight from the movie, so I officially disclaim. Chapter 6: Brave, brave Sir Watanuki.

This is the fluffiest thing I've written in ages. I'm not sure where it came from. And it has basically no plot. But I like it anyways. Whatever, again.

First off: You know how you're supposed to check your work in math? Yeah, in writing I hear you call it editing. Either way, I don't do it.
Second of all: I don't think this is creative at all. Because I'm burned out. But I'm trying to do at least one theme a week now, if it kills me. After these, I must finish my Monty Python AU. I must.
Third: The theme is empty box. What's wrong with that? I specifically talk about WHAT'S IN THE BOXES. Damn it, Ari fails. And she's talking in third person.
Fourth: I don't even think this makes sense. In fact, I'm pretty sure it doesn't. The theory behind it is that Watanuki keeps on forgetting things, like how he's forgotten his past. But that wasn't going to fit in a hundred words.

Oh well.
